Flora

Flora is a new found interest. In the last few years I’ve started paying more attention to plants and fungi, and being more curious about them in all their interactions and iterations: wild and cultivated flowers, trees, moss, grasses and ferns, mushrooms and mycelium , crops of fruits and vegetables etc.

This has also transpired into my work. If a few years ago someone would have told me I’d be super excited to tattoo a bunch of carrots and some beetroots, I’d have laughed.

Flora gives us the opportunity to tie elements together in an organic and fluid way without having to resort to too much abstraction.
